1 Introductions, apologies and substitutions
The Chair welcomed the Committee. Apologies were received from Suzy Davies and Simon Thomas, Lindsey Whittle substituted.
2 Financial Education and Inclusion (Wales) Bill - Evidence session 7
The Committee heard evidence from the Minister for Communities and Tackling Poverty and the Minster for Education and Skills. The Minister for Education and Skills agreed to provide the following:
The provision in ITT and support programmes available for the LNF and Maths programme of study;
The levels of funding set aside for ITT and CPD that take into account the improved standards in LNF and the numeracy G.C.S.E;
Timetable of the evaluation of the LNF.
3 Financial Education and Inclusion (Wales) Bill - Evidence session 8
The Committee heard evidence from Citizens Advice Cymru and the Money Advice Service. The Money Advice Service agreed to provide Educational Psychologists research on brain development.
4 Financial Education and Inclusion (Wales) Bill - Evidence session 9
The Committee heard evidence from Estyn.
6 Inquiry into Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services - Consideration of draft report
The Committee considered the draft report, it would be considered further at next week’s meeting.
